After graduating from Aberdeen University with a degree in zoology I was contracted as an ecologist for Grampian Regional Council to participate in an ecological survey of the Aberdeenshire coast. On completion of the contract I moved to a project management role in the private sector where I remained for 30 years before taking early retirement to concentrate on my interest in photography. My current location in in NE England places me close to a wide selection of landscape photography opportunities but I am interested in all aspects of photography.
